Our session was back in the fall and it was so great to drive around town to fun locations and catch up with this gorgeous senior!!!

BIG Changes for 2013

So what are the changes coming to TEP in 2013?
My family is going through some BIG changes as this spring we will be welcoming TRIPLETS! We are having one sweet little boy and 2 precious girls! I already have a 2 year old boy so we are officially even in our household. To say that we are blessed would be an understatement. I cannot even begin to tell you the excitement that we are feeling! (I would be lying to you if I said we weren’t nervous for this journey as well! BUT we know that God has a plan for our family and we are thrilled that it involves these blessings!) My pregnancy is taken care of by a team of Dr’s who are simply amazing. At the end of November, they suggested that I stop taking on sessions as I was outside in the cold so much. Being a high risk pregnancy, they are very cautious about what I do, etc. I have enjoyed spending time with my family over the holidays and playing with my 2 year old as life is going to change so much. While I have missed my clients, these few months before we welcome our 3 babies have been nothing short of a blessing!

I have GREATLY appreciated all of the inquiries and best wishes over the last month and a half! I have tried my best to help each person out by finding another photographer and giving suggestions and places that you might look for your photography needs while I am unable to take on sessions at this time. I HATE saying “no” to sessions as this would have been one of my busiest winters BUT obviously, I have to do the very best for my family. THANK YOU for keeping me so busy over the fall and holidays! I certainly have some of the best clients!

THINGS ARE A CHANGIN’!
What kinds of things will be changing as TEP takes a few months off? Well, I will be specializing more! This year I am saying goodbye to newborns and maternity sessions. I LOVE these sessions but want to place my focus/passion more on FAMILIES and SENIOR photography. Last year my senior/family photography grew into what I had dreamed of for my business and I can only dream BIGGER!

SENIORS- Obviously with a large new family, my sessions will be very limited BUT will include SO much more! I am working with a local salon that make my clients look AMAZING! This will be more of a standard as I work with each individual to create a look and stylized shoot for each senior! I have continued to search for new/unique locations that will be special to your session. You didn’t think that I just quit doing any of it did you? I think that my head automatically is programmed to look at textures, colors, etc of my surroundings!

FAMILIES- I will have certain spots in my calendar that is reserved for families only! I LOVE watching families interact, etc. I will alert my clients first through my newsletter on the calendar and when these sessions can be booked. I have had MANY want to reserve their session for next year and so this will all be on a first come, first served basis!

PRICING-
As many photographers, my pricing structure is going to also have some changes in what I offer, etc. I have continued to work on this as I am changing things up a bit! I will let you know that it is going to be "simple" and accomodate what many of my clients have asked for! I will definitely let you know when my client magazine is available.

WHEN CAN I Book My Session?
As the world of my family is going to be different, I am keeping my calendar and openings closed right now. I have a possible time when I would like to come back but would like to wait until I am positive that life and my family has transitioned well and all 4 of my miracles are taken care of.

I LOVED the ideas that this session had for their maternity Mini! This couple loves to play games and we definitely needed to include that! Dad also plays the guitar which will be so much fun for their session when their precious little girl is born!

It’s so exciting to see all of these sweet babies grow up and turn one! (Although I am sad that I do not get to see them and their mommas every few months

During his 6 month session, he was just so sweet and wanted to top it during his one year session with smiles in every frame! This little guy was so happy and fun to work with!

Meet Katie! She’s super sweet, easy to work with and can do some amazing things when it comes to dance! (Seriously so graceful…I was so impressed!)

This Maroa Forsyth Senior got amazing treatment at Roots Salon where she had her makeup and hair done. (My seniors are beautiful to begin with and I LOVE how amazing they look and feel after their salon experience!)
